Dropbox only lets an app open files you already have if it requests access across your Dropbox. Clarveni asks for read access only, and imports nothing beyond the files and folders you select. Does a selected folder include new files? Yes. Daily change checks flag new files in a selected folder. Your next extraction includes them; review and confirm the draft to update your context. Files outside the folder are not included. Which files can Clarveni read? Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), plain text, Markdown, Dropbox Paper and PDFs with selectable text are supported. Scanned pages, images and text inside diagrams are not read. What happens when I disconnect? Clarveni stops reading from Dropbox and deletes the saved document profile. Briefs already sent stay as they were.
